Playa de Getares is located in Algeciras, approximately 5 kilometres south of the city center near the Bay of Gibraltar, and stretches approximately 1.5 kilometres in length with an average width of 40 metres. The beach features fine sand, shallow waters, parking facilities, and public toilets and showers (though these may not operate during off-season months).
