Playa de la Concha is a maritime bathing zone located in Oropesa, Castellón province in the Valencian Community, Spain. The beach is configured as an open cove without defense structures and features a rigid maritime promenade. The beach has a sandy composition of artificial origin with a mean width of 73.9 metres and a high-tide line length of 802.4 metres. The beach is bounded to the north by Morro de Gos beach and to the south by a rocky area with small cliffs.

Maritime bathing zone in coastal waters of the Júcar hydrographic demarcation. The water body is categorized as coastal with good status. Current direction is south to north. The area has a microtidal range. Annual precipitation in the zone of influence is 325 mm with average monthly precipitation of 27 mm. April is the wettest month and July is the driest month.

Located in the municipality of Oropesa in Castellón province, Valencian Community, Spain. Parking is available. The beach is accessible to people with disabilities.

No direct sewage discharges affect the beach. Potential short-term contamination factors from rainfall, urban sewerage, and coastal discharges are assessed as low frequency with slight impact.

Risks

Potential low-frequency risks from rainfall, urban sewerage, and coastal discharges with slight impact. Cyanobacteria are not known to occur in coastal waters of the region. Jellyfish proliferations are a natural phenomenon that may occur associated with coastal geomorphology, climatic conditions, and high water temperatures.
