Pinedo Beach is located in Valencia, Spain, in the province of Valencia within the Valencian Community. The beach has an irregular closed configuration with perpendicular breakwaters as defence structures and a rigid maritime promenade. The high-tide shoreline extends 1,144.8 metres with an average width of 116.6 metres and is composed of sand with semi-natural origin. It is classified as an artificial coast within the Júcar River Basin District.

Location

Valencia municipality, province of Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain. The beach is bounded to the north by the new course of the Turia River and to the south by l'Arbe de gos Beach. Parking is available. The beach is easily accessible with facilities for disabled persons.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent. Monitoring point 'Entrada Valero' (established 1988) records water quality classifications for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Weekly inspections are conducted during the bathing season evaluating water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness on a four-point scale from excellent to insufficient. Management is governed by Royal Decree 1341/2007 transposing Directive 2006/7/CE.
