Playa El Mojon is a beach in Puerto de Mazarrón composed of fine grey gravel and sand with moderate wave conditions. The beach is isolated with medium occupancy and is designated as a suitable bathing zone. Water quality was rated as excellent during the 2017–2019 monitoring period. Toxic phytoplankton cells were practically absent throughout bathing seasons, though jellyfish appear seasonally in spring and late summer with variable frequency.
