Playa del Racó is a maritime bathing beach located in Cullera, Valencia, Spain. The beach features an irregular closed configuration with perpendicular breakwaters and a rigid maritime promenade. It is bounded to the north by Playa Cap Blanc and to the south by Playa San Antoni. The beach has a sandy composition of artificial origin and is situated on a low-lying accumulation coast with currents flowing from south to north.

Current direction south to north. Belongs to the Júcar hydrographic demarcation, classified as a coastal water mass with moderate status.

Location

Cullera municipality, Valencia province, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain. The beach has road access and accessible facilities for people with disabilities. Parking is not available.

Water Quality

Water quality is assessed under Royal Decree 1341/2007 during the official swimming season from 1 June to 15 September. Weekly inspections evaluate water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness using the classifications: Excellent, Good, Sufficient, and Insufficient. No direct discharges to the coastline affect water quality. No dedicated environmental control point has been established as there are no direct urban wastewater connections or natural geographical accidents that would discharge to the beach.
