Playa Es Dolç is a natural sandy beach located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 350 metres long and 58 metres wide with a gentle slope and fine sand substrate. It is used for recreational purposes with medium visitor traffic. The water is free-flowing and currents are present.

Location

Located in the municipality of Ses Salines on Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access, vehicle access, and parking facilities are not available.

Water Quality

Water quality classification was Excelente (Excellent) annually from 2019 to 2022. The 2022–23 status is Moderado (Moderate). No short-duration contamination episodes (<72 hours) were recorded from 2019 to 2022. No exceptional contamination episodes (>72 hours) were recorded in the same period. Pollution sources include septic tanks and boats. No point discharge emissions or other described contamination sources are present.

Risks

Phytoplankton proliferations are occasional. Jellyfish are occasional. Cyanobacteria have no recorded history. Floating waste accumulation is very low.
