Located on the island of Menorca in the municipality of Mahón, Balearic Islands, Spain. Good pedestrian access is available. Vehicle access is good with good parking facilities. Disabled access is available but rated as regular.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent for all years 2019–2022. Water status was rated as Good in 2007–09, 2018–19, and 2022–23. Short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) occurred twice in 2022. Floating waste accumulation was low in 2019–2021 and very high in 2022. Pollution sources include a wastewater outfall without a relief system at Cap de Bajolí to Punta Prima, torrents, and boat discharges.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish presence. No history of phytoplankton blooms or cyanobacteria.
