Es Pujols is a 500-meter-long natural sandy beach on the island of Formentera in the Balearic Islands. The beach has a gentle slope with fine sand and is 20 meters wide. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with daily use and moderate visitor numbers, primarily attracting non-resident users.

Natural saltwater body. The bathing zone is 500 meters long and 20 meters wide with a gentle slope. No currents, whirlpools, or rip currents are present. Water mass code: EFMC08M4.

Water Quality

Annual water quality classification was Excellent for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Water quality status for 2022–23 is classified as Good. One short-duration pollution episode (<72 hours) was recorded in 2022. Floating waste accumulation is very low as of 2022. A wastewater outfall (EBAR) with a 700-meter overflow is present.

Risks

Jellyfish occur occasionally. Phytoplankton proliferation and cyanobacteria have no recorded history.
