Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The water mass maintains good ecological status. Microbiological monitoring shows consistently low concentrations of E. coli and Enterococcus across monitoring periods from 2008 to 2010.

No significant contamination risks identified. No occasional discharge risks associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 09/04) has no historical contamination records.
