Water body status classified as poor. Microbiological monitoring shows E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations measured between 2008 and 2010. No historical contamination precedents recorded for the bathing zone or adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 05/01 Ría da Coruña (EXT), classified as Zone B).

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risk identified.
