The bathing zone is classified as Excellent. E. coli and enterococcus concentrations remain within acceptable limits for excellent water quality classification. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 09/01 Ría de Arousa Exterior) shows no historical contamination records and is classified as Zone B.
