Water Quality

Microbiological monitoring shows E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations tracked from 2008–2010. No historical antecedents of contamination are recorded. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 11/02 Enseada de Moaña) is classified as Zone B with no antecedents.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified.
