Playa O Cocho is a maritime bathing zone located in Moaña, Pontevedra, Galicia. The beach is 171 metres long with a sandy composition and experiences calm water conditions. It has low visitor numbers and is situated in a semi-urbanised area.

Water Quality

Microbiological monitoring shows E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations tracked from 2008–2010. No historical antecedents of contamination are recorded. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 11/02 Enseada de Moaña) is classified as Zone B with no antecedents.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified.
