Playa O Portiño is a maritime bathing zone located in O Grove, Pontevedra, Galicia. The beach is 46 metres long and 15 metres wide with a rocky and boulder composition. Water conditions are calm, making it suitable for swimming.

Water Quality

Bathing water classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations showed trends below threshold levels during 2008–2010 monitoring. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 09/08 Enseada de O Grove) is classified as Zone B with no previous contamination history.

Risks

Yellow alert risk identified for short-duration contamination associated with heavy precipitation events. No localized discharge risk identified.
