Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing zone has no historical contamination antecedents. Adjacent shellfish production zone GAL 01/01 Costa Lucense is classified as Zone A with no antecedents. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations show compliance with excellent classification standards.

Risks

No significant contamination risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No contamination risk identified from localised discharges.
