Ses Penyes Roges is an artificial bathing beach located in El Toro, Calvià, on the island of Mallorca. The beach measures 166 metres in length and 46 metres in width with a gentle slope and fine sand substrate. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used primarily by local residents on a daily basis with medium visitor numbers.

Artificial bathing area measuring 166 metres in length and 46 metres in width. Fine sand substrate with gentle slope. No currents, whirlpools, or rip currents. Water mass code: MAMC01M2, located between Cala Falcó and Punta Negra.

Water quality classification: Excellent for years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Water condition status 2022–23: Good. One exceptional pollution episode exceeding 72 hours was recorded in 2019. Floating waste accumulation levels: very low (2019), medium (2020), low (2021), very low (2022). Pollution sources identified include septic tanks, boats, and rainwater discharges. No sewage outfalls or discharge conduits present.

Risks

Occasional phytoplankton blooms. Occasional jellyfish. No history of cyanobacteria.
