Son Moll is a bathing beach in Capdepera, Illes Balears, measuring 730 metres in length and 52 metres in width. The beach has a promenade and is situated in a residential and nautical area. It has been classified as excellent for water quality annually from 2016 to 2019.

Water Quality

Water quality status was good in 2014 and 2017. Annual classification was excellent in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Short-duration pollution episodes (less than 72 hours) occurred in 2016, 2017, 2018 (one each), and 2019 (two episodes). No exceptional circumstances lasting over 72 hours were recorded. Identified contamination sources include wastewater treatment plant emissions, pumping stations, septic tanks, vessels, and rainwater runoff.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish blooms. No historical toxic phytoplankton or diatom proliferation.
