Podšilo is located on the Lopar peninsula, at the far end of the beach chain that includes Sahara and Dubac. The beach has sandy shores with shallow, clear water and is bordered by pine forest and low hills. Access is on foot via a gravel road through dunes and forest, or by boat from Livačina; dogs are permitted.
