Poggensee is a supervised outdoor public bathing beach located 3 km north of Bad Oldesloe. The facility operates from 1 June to 15 September, 10:00 to 19:00 hours (weather dependent). It features approximately 200 m of sandy beach, volleyball and play areas, and sunbathing meadows both in sun and shade.
