Pole biwakowe number 1 is a bathing area located on the Chechło-Nakło reservoir, an artificial water body in Śląskie Voivodeship. The reservoir was created in the late 1960s from a former sand quarry that was flooded after excavation ceased in 1968. The bathing area features sandy beaches and is surrounded by pine and mixed forests covering approximately 300 hectares. The site serves recreational purposes with various facilities and amenities available to visitors.

Artificial reservoir Chechło-Nakło located in Śląskie Voivodeship, Tarnogórski County. Shoreline length is 100 metres. The water body is surrounded by sandy beaches and reed beds along the shoreline.

Location

Located in Nakło Śląskie, Śląskie Voivodeship, Tarnogórski County, on the border between Świerklaniec and Nakło Śląskie villages. Designated parking areas are available at the recreation centre with signposted access from the provincial road and from the directions of Tarnowskie Góry and Miasteczko Śląskie.

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, designated grill and fire places, water supply point, disabled access, litter bins, toilets, showers, changing rooms, WOPR lifeguard flag mast, lifeguard on duty, children's bathing area, beach volleyball court, informational signage, pets prohibited, bathing regulations available for review.

27 June 2025 to 1 September 2025. Operating hours 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water classified as suitable for bathing in all 2025 and 2024 monitoring results. E. coli levels ranged from 11 to 170 colony-forming units per 100 ml, with a maximum permissible concentration of 1000 units per 100 ml. Enterococci levels ranged from 53 to 240 units per 100 ml, with a maximum permissible concentration of 400 units per 100 ml. All measured values remained below regulatory thresholds.
