Porth Joke sits along the Cornish coast near Crantock, reached by a coastal path roughly a 10-minute walk from the nearest car park, with a steep final descent to the sand. The beach features tidal sandy shoreline where seals are sometimes visible offshore during high tide, and it borders coastal poppy fields that bloom in June. No dog waste bins are provided along the walk, on the beach, or at the nearby Bowgie Inn, where parking is available.
