Porto do Salão is a natural rock pool area accessed by a steep ramp and stairs leading down from a parking lot near a campground. The site features bathrooms, changing rooms, a snack bar, a small playground, and ladders for entering the water, on the site of a former whaling station. The sea can be rough, and swimming here requires open-water experience.
