Pošesi is a natural rocky beach located in Medulin on the Croatian coast. The beach stretches 280 metres in length with a width of 10 metres and features an indented coastline shape. The beach surface is predominantly rocky with low vegetation including grass and bushes. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.4°C.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during season 23.4°C. Salinity ranges from 37.1 to 39.3 during the season. Tide amplitude is 35.4 cm. Coastal slope is moderate (15–25 degrees). Underwater coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees). Prevailing wind direction is north.

Location

Medulin, Croatia. Beach access is by pedestrian path. No parking is available at the beach.

Season

Monitoring and assessment occur annually from 2009 onwards, with four-year assessment cycles.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored annually with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Four-year assessment periods are conducted with 40 samples per period. Quality classifications of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor are applied.
