Praia 19 sits along the Costa da Caparica coastline, near Fonte da Telha, and is accessed via Casa de Praia beach club followed by a walk along the shore. The beach borders the Atlantic Ocean and functions as a nudist and gay beach, with no bar or market on site. Car or rideshare is the main way to reach it, as train service to the area has been discontinued.
