Praia de Paimógo lies below Forte do Paimógo, near Vila Nova de Milfontes, and is reached by a steep, partly unpaved road leading down the cliffside. The beach has no support facilities, is unsupervised, and offers limited parking near the fort, requiring a walk down to the shore. Ocean waters here draw surfers, and the surrounding area includes abandoned buildings near the coastline.
