Praia do Burdo lies along the Fisherman's Trail (Rota Vicentina) and is reached by a steep, unpaved footpath down the cliffside, unsuitable for young children, elderly visitors, or those with mobility issues. The beach is small, composed of sand, and bordered by ocean waters, with no facilities on site. Access is on foot only, with no direct road or parking at the beach itself.
