Praia do Santo is located in the Galicia region near a small island that contains the remains of a chapel and can be accessed on foot at low tide; the beach has two sections with fine sand, shower facilities, and lifeguard service, though dogs are not permitted. Parking is available on the main road with a five-minute walk to the beach, and at high tide the water covers most of the sand while at low tide it recedes to expose more of the shoreline.
