Pultiddolu is a pocket beach immediately adjacent to a tourist settlement of the same name, located at the confluence of two mountain watercourses. The beach has a sandy seabed and spans 180 metres in width, accommodating approximately 180 swimmers. The bathing water has been classified as excellent quality.

Location

Located in the municipality of Olbia-Tempio in Sardinia, near Santa Teresa Gallura. The beach is situated in a coastal marine water body known as Santa Teresa Gallura.

Facilities

No lifeguards or first aid assistance. No toilets. No showers. No disabled access facilities. No refreshment facilities. No sports facilities. Animals are not permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing water is monitored by the Agenzia regionale del distretto idrografico della Sardegna and the Agenzia regionale per la protezione dell'ambiente della Sardegna.

Risks

River mouth discharges identified as a minor pollution pressure. Short-duration pollution events are under investigation using a modelling approach.
