Punta DeBij is a cultivated beach in Punat with a 760-metre length and wavelike coastal shape. The beach surface is predominantly pebbly with low and high vegetation. Average sea temperature during the season reaches 21.97°C, with salinity ranging from 34.4 to 38.9. The mild coastal slope both above and below water makes it suitable for swimming.

Sea water body. Beach length 760 metres. Mild coastal slope less than 15 degrees. Underwater coastal slope mild, less than 15 degrees. Average sea temperature 21.97°C. Salinity range 34.4–38.9. Tide amplitude 36.7 cm. Prevailing wind from the north-east.

Location

Located in Punat. Free parking is available. Beach access is via a coastline path.

Facilities

Restaurant, café bar, fast food, sanitary facilities, showers, changing rooms, playground, land sports, water sports facilities, aquagan, parking area, trash cans. Floating safety lines installed at beach fronts.

Season

Regular monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 onwards.

Water quality classification is excellent. Regular monitoring conducted under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ with 10 samples taken annually since 2009.
