Water quality classification: elevated (95th and 90th percentile parameters). One urban treatment plant with capacity greater than 2000 inhabitant equivalents is active in the reference municipality. No specific monitoring programmes are currently active to monitor pollutant concentrations and limit their spread.

Risks

Mollusk aquaculture is present as a source of pollution. Modelling methodologies for short-duration pollution events are still under study.
