Risks

Short-term pollution events associated with surface runoff from urban areas and agricultural land have been identified at the mouths of Torrente Calabro, Torrente Gafaro, and Torrente Vallecupo. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have affected the sea or inland waters in the past four years.
