Risks

A prohibited swimming zone approximately 300 metres long exists due to the presence of a shipwreck (motor vessel wreck). A second prohibited swimming zone approximately 526 metres long exists due to the presence of unstable rocky slopes. Both prohibitions were issued by Capitaneria di Porto di Gela for safety reasons.
