Punto Rio is a sandy beach bathing area located in the municipality of Pachino, Sicily. The area is characterized by a sandy beach approximately 30 metres wide and easily accessible, frequated by residents and tourists. The beach is situated in a plain near urban settlements whose population density increases during the bathing season. Mediterranean scrubland vegetation is present in the surrounding area.
