Seven beaches located in the Dieppe Maritime area on the Normandy coast of France: Saint-Aubin-sur-mer, Quiberville, Sainte-Marguerite-sur-mer, Pourville, Dieppe-plage, Dieppe-Puys, and Saint-Martin-en-Campagne.

Water Quality

Water quality monitoring includes bacteriological analysis at designated monitoring points for each beach. Shellfish farming areas (moules) are monitored for bacterial quality. Blue Flag designation is assessed. Water quality in the port of Dieppe is also monitored.

Risks

Identified potential pollution sources include wastewater treatment systems, agricultural activities, industrial facilities (food processing, nuclear power plant at Penly, animal processing facility), fishing ports, waste management, bird populations, and karst circulation.
