Pwlldu lies on the Gower Peninsula, roughly one kilometre west of Caswell Bay, reached via a walk from Bishopston valley or the South Gower Rugby Club car park. The beach consists of pebble and sand backed by a grey storm ridge, with tidal sections of exposed sand. Access involves a hilly path down to the shore, with no facilities directly on site.
