Maslinica is a partially cultivated pebble beach located in the Labin-Rabac area of Croatia. The beach is 400 metres long and 40 metres wide with a mild coastal slope. It features an indented coastline and is situated in a camping area with free parking accessible via asphalt road. The beach holds a Blue Flag designation and experiences high bather density during the season.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 400 metres, beach width 40 metres. Average sea temperature during season 23.29°C. Salinity ranges from 34.7 to 39.1 during the season. Tide amplitude 37.2 centimetres. Prevailing wind from North-East. Mild underwater coastal slope (less than 15 degrees).

Location

Labin and Rabac, Croatia. Accessible by asphalt road with free parking available. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and rolling four-year assessment periods from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality is assessed annually with 10 samples per year and in four-year periods with 40 samples total. Assessments are conducted under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
