The Río Tera bathing area is located at Milles de la Polvorosa in Zamora province, Castilla-León, Spain. It is situated on a section of the Tera River characterised by a single, meandering channel with a fluvial sedimentary substrate composed of gravel, sand, and clay. The bathing zone has a sandy and gravelly beach with riparian vegetation including alders, willows, and ash trees. The river supports diverse fauna including river crayfish, perch, pike, barbel, and eels.
