Rotcze

Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Rotcze is a bathing beach on Lake Rotcze, a still water lake with a gently sloping bottom that reaches approximately 1 metre depth about 30 metres from the shoreline. The lake has no direct inflow and water levels fluctuate seasonally depending on atmospheric conditions. Water quality has been consistently suitable for bathing across multiple monitoring seasons.

Water

Lake Rotcze is a still water body with a shoreline of 100 metres. The lake bottom slopes gently toward the centre, reaching approximately 1 metre depth at about 30 metres from the shore. The bottom elevation at the bathing pontoon is 168.90 metres above sea level.

Location

Located at Grabniak 58, Grabniak, Włodawski district, Lublin Voivodeship, Poland. A pontoon and mooring facilities are available. Parking is available at designated areas.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, pontoon, mooring for water equipment, designated barbecue and fire areas, waste bins, toilets, showers, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard on duty, and prohibition on domestic animals.

01 July 2025 – 31 August 2025

Water Quality

Water quality classification in 2025 is Excellent. The maximum allowable concentrations are Escherichia coli: 1000 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci: 400 CFU/100 ml. Monitoring results from 2025 show E. coli levels between 1–300 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci between 1–20 CFU/100 ml, all indicating water suitable for bathing.
