The Heppenäcker leisure and bathing lake covers approximately 10 hectares and is a freely accessible former quarry lake located on Volkersheimer Straße to the southeast of Rottenacker. A kiosk and sanitary facilities are available. Camping with the option to grill is permitted on the designated campsite area following prior registration. Dogs are not allowed at the bathing lake.
