RT Pisak is a partially cultivated beach located in Starigrad, Seline, on the Croatian coast. The beach features a pebble surface with low and high vegetation, stretching 400 metres in length and 10 metres in width along an indented coastline. During the bathing season, the average sea temperature reaches 22.83°C with high bather density. The beach has a mild coastal slope both above and below water.

Water

The bathing water is a coastal sea area with a pebble beach bottom. Average sea temperature during the season is 22.83°C. Salinity ranges from a minimum of 13.6 to a maximum of 38 during the season. The beach is 400 metres long and 10 metres wide with a mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees) both above and below water. Tide amplitude is 32 centimetres.

Location

The beach is situated in Starigrad, Seline, Croatia, accessible via an asphalt road. No parking is available at the site. Boat docking is available directly on the beach.

Facilities

The beach provides a sanitary facility, café bar, fast food, playground, benches, and trash cans. A campground is available. Boat docking is offered directly on the beach.

Season

Monitoring occurs annually from 2009 through 2025, with the beach designated as a small town beach with high bather density during the season.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year, except for 2020 when only 1 sample was taken. Monitoring continues through 2025. Assessment periods are conducted every 4 years under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ, with the most recent period 2022-2025 involving 40 samples. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
