Ružićevo is a cultivated beach located in Rijeka with a wavelike coastal shape. The beach surface is predominantly pebbled with concrete structures present. It experiences high bather density during the season and is classified as a town beach with no sea-side protection.

Adriatic Sea coastal bathing water. Beach length 226 metres. Average sea temperature during season 22.28°C. Salinity ranges from minimum 24.1 to maximum 38. Tide amplitude 38.7 cm. Prevailing wind from the north.

Location

Rijeka. Beach is accessible by stairs. Free parking is available. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach area.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Four-year assessment periods show consistent monitoring data from 2009–2025. Quality classifications recorded include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
