Lifeguard surveillance is present. Equipment and facilities are available on the beach and in nearby areas. Dogs are regulated on the beach under municipal ordinances.

Official monitoring occurs during the bathing season.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified and monitored according to Directive 2006/7/CE. Historical quality data and robustness of classification have been assessed. Monitoring campaigns were conducted in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Potential pollution sources identified include sewerage system discharges, stormwater outlets, river outflows, non-collective sanitation systems, pleasure boats, and camping vehicles.

Potential pollution risks from collective sewerage systems, stormwater drainage networks, river discharges, autonomous sanitation systems, pleasure boats, camping vehicles, animals on the beach, and bather-related pollution. Phytoplankton and macroalgae proliferation potential has been evaluated.
