Salzgitter See is a 75-hectare inland lake in Salzgitter Lebenstedt that serves as the water sports centre of Southeast Lower Saxony. The lake offers diverse recreational activities including sailing, fishing, rowing, diving, and water skiing via a cable system at the western shore. A 1,600-metre beach and excellent water quality provide ideal conditions for swimming and sunbathing.
