A river beach located in the Santa Luzia reservoir in Pampilhosa da Serra. The bathing water offers good conditions for water sports, climbing, rappel, mountain biking, and hiking. No history of short-term pollution events has been recorded.

Season

July 1st to August 31st, 2021. Biweekly sampling frequency.

Water Quality

Water quality classification 2020 under Decreto-Lei 135/09 (amended by Decreto-Lei 113/2012). No significant microbiological pollution sources identified in the area. There were zero days in bathing season 2020 when bathing was advised against or prohibited due to short-term pollution events.

Risks

Cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation are all considered unlikely.
