Sätila Lygnern

Sweden Lake 1 - Excellent

Lygnern bathing beach is located at the northern end of Lake Lygnern in Sätila, Marks municipality. The beach is 15 meters wide and 400 meters long. A 120-meter-long pier is available at the bathing area, from which the boat Isa operates seasonal tours on the lake during summer.

Lake Lygnern is a long, narrow lake with a surface area of 33 square kilometres, stretching across Kungsbacka and Marks municipalities.

Location

Sätila, Marks municipality. The bathing beach is situated at the northern end of Lake Lygnern, which extends from Fjärås to Sätila between Kungsbacka and Marks municipalities.

Facilities

Pier (120 meters long).

Season

21 June 2026 to 20 August 2026.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (Utmärkt kvalitet). Classification maintained consistently from 2022 to 2025. The bathing area is registered as an EU bathing water under Directive 2006/7/EG.
