Scoglio Tre Fratelli is a bathing area in Vico Equense characterised by a predominantly rocky coastline with sandy beaches and cliffs protecting the parallel coastal road. The area features a high carbonate coast formed by the forested near-vertical slopes of the Monti Lattari mountains. The water has been classified as Excellent for the monitoring period 2020–2023.

Location

Vico Equense, Naples Province, Campania Region. The bathing area is located on the rocky coastline with monitoring point coordinates at approximately 40.6765°N, 14.4366°E.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2020–2023). Monitored under Italian Legislative Decree 116/2008.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified: overflow discharge from Rivo Sperlonga stream (coordinates 40.6765°N, 14.4366°E) and pool discharge from Hotel Capo La Gala (coordinates 40.6754°N, 14.4355°E). Wastewater is treated at Punta Gradelle treatment plant in Vico Equense.
