Water Quality

Water quality analyses were conducted for the bathing beaches of Sevrier. The profile includes bacteriological and physico-chemical quality assessments of the watershed hydrosystem.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include wastewater treatment systems, rainwater networks, port installations and navigation activities, agricultural activities, inter-human contamination, and cyanobacteria proliferation. Duck itch (dermatitis cercariae) was noted as a potential concern.
