Shaldon is at the mouth of the Teign Estuary on the south coast of Devon. It is a sandy beach, approximately 1.3 kilometres wide, close to the village of Shaldon.

Risks

There are a number of permitted storm overflows that discharge into the Teign Estuary. Additionally, it is important to note that certain overflows are assigned for investigative purposes and may not have an actual impact.
