Shellness Beach is located on the Isle of Sheppey, reached via Shellness Road just outside Leysdown. The shoreline consists of sand, gravel, shells and mud, with the sea remaining shallow and receding a long way at low tide. A designated naturist area lies along part of the beach, and facilities are limited to a café near the free car park at Neptune.
