Siljansbadet is the municipality's largest bathing area, stretching 1.2 km along Rättviken from Helsingland in the south to Kyrkudden in the north. The beach is centrally located and bordered by the railway and central Rättvik to the east and the Enån river to the south. The bathing beach consists of fine-grained sand, as does the bottom of Siljan. North of the long jetty is a grass-covered area for sunbathing. The area from Helsingland through the section north of the long jetty functions as a public park and bathing area, with a camping area in private operation to the north.
