Skocznia is a bathing beach on Lake Oleckie Wielkie in Olecko, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland. The beach has a sandy bottom and a shoreline of 40 meters. Water quality classifications from 2018 to 2025 show consistent excellent to good ratings, with all monitored samples meeting safety standards for E. coli and enterococci bacteria.

Lake Oleckie Wielkie. Sandy bottom. Maximum depth 45.2 meters; average depth 16.7 meters. Young glacial lake with high calcium content (Ca > 25 mg/dm³) and high Schindler coefficient (WS > 2). Shoreline length 40 meters.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: Excellent. 2024: Good. 2023–2022: Excellent. Monitoring results show E. coli and enterococci levels consistently well below maximum allowable concentrations (E. coli: 1000 CFU/100 ml; enterococci: 400 CFU/100 ml). All water assessments from 2018 onwards rated as suitable for bathing.

Risks

Red flag status as of 1 September 2025 due to beach closure. Historical data shows no persistent pollution sources or algae blooms.
